MAKE Space is my Interior Therapy service where I use my years of experience and passion in Interiors to help you style your home. Whether you choose to do a full space or just concentrate on little corners of your home I am here for all of it. Your home is your nest, your cocoon, your sanctuary so I believe by creating your own safe space you will instantly notice a difference in your mind-set and live a more fulfilled life. I work to your budget and your story...trust me I'm an Interior Stylist.
Once upon a staircase...
She's a book lover, an early riser, always sees the dawn. From that waking moment as she opens her bedroom door she is also turning the page to a new day, feeling uplifted and inspired. Throughout the day as she passes through she can sit to take a breath, enjoy a bit from her book or potter in her cabinet of curiosities. When the day is done the moonlight guides her up the stairs and she takes with her a smile knowing what is there to greet her again the very next day...the next page to her story that is yet to be written.

Where it all began for me, furniture. I'm a little obsessed. The shape, the form, the longevity they can have. So this is why I can always see the potential in saving old pieces, bringing them back to life. Using what you have or sourcing secondhand pieces or yes even finding freebies on the side of the road. With a lick of paint, a printed design or even just a good sand...there's nothing more satisfying than a before and after.

You may be surprised to know that the owners of this home have filled it with colour. From walking through the door to a pink and turquoise kitchen, into a bright yellow drenched sitting room and dark burgundy snug, up the orange and blue staircase..leading to the bedroom they wanted to decorate and were quite firm in saying they wanted all white. John Lennon vibes, peaceful and calm.
The bulk of this budget went on them building a walk-in wardrobe and laying a brand new (white of course) carpet.
We used a lot of what they already had around the home to accessorise or upcycle, grabbing bits from charity shops, placing mirrors to bounce off the light, filled it with lots of greenery and although slightly controversial, placed the bed against the window as South facing allows for a more aligned restful nights sleep and they confirm it has made a huge difference and also allows for more flow into and around the room.
